Welcome back to Deep Analysis.
I haven’t really done a full Decktech in a while but this deck interested me quite a bit. One card that I was quite high on back when Kaladesh was released was Dynavolt Tower.
A friend of mine, Matthew Norton, won a PPTQ on January 7th with a Temur Dynavolt list:

So why this version and not the Izzet (UR) version?
The green cards were very important to deck’s success.
Attune with Aether gives the deck multiple things. By itself, you get a basic land and 2 Energy. With a Tower out, you get a basic land and 4 Energy, which is dang near enough to fire the cannon once. This gives you the ability to fix your mana and get you Energy just like the Aetherworks Marvel deck does.
What turns out to be the most important green cards are the artifact removal spells. Appetite for the Unnatural and Natural State were important enough against Vehicle based decks and Aetherworks Marvel decks that they pushed the build from Izzet (UR) to Temur (URG). Norton stated after the event that he would switch one rejection for one negate. Most I boarded in all day was 2 rejections. Also, one more Radiant Flames. Also, would trim all the trackers, people left in a surprising amount of removal, probably because of the things and they were always killed on sight. Probably make it 2 Jaces. Could also be Nissa, but would have to add at least one more green source…
Matthew took the deck to another Top 8 finish at a PPTQ in Cookeville, TN post Aether Revolt with a few changes. His list is below:
So if you like control with a little extra E in the tank, you might give this deck a try.
